Extremely sleazy, low class people! I had purchased a Zenith Chronomaster from an authorized dealer in California and had it shipped to me in Chicago. Marshall Pierce is the only Zenith AD near me so I went there to have some links removed from the bracelet. They wanted to charge me $50 PER LINK!!! Mind you it takes the exact same amount of work to remove one link as two or three or four or five, as long as they are all on the same side of the buckle. Imagine if you have a small wrist and purchase a large watch with short links, they will charge you $500-$600 just to size it! It takes 5 minutes or less so you're looking at an hourly rate of $7200/hr! Instead of being so sleazy and greedy and trying to squeeze every last penny they possibly can from potential customers, maybe they should try building up some good will and growing their customer base and quit the price gouging. The margins they make selling luxury watches are very healthy. Why alienate customers by gouging them for a simple service most jewelers do for free? BTW 15 minutes before I arrived at Marshall Pierce I was at Omega and they sized for me, at no charge, a Speedmaster that I had purchased from the same AD as the Chronomaster. And after I left Marshall Pierce laughing, I went to another high-end jeweler a couple of blocks away who sized the Chronomaster for free.

He has that rare gift of being both incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely personable - interacting with him felt like chatting with a good friend who also happens to be a watch expert. I appreciate how he struck the perfect balance throughout the process; he afforded space to make decisions while staying in touch at just the right moments. Extremely happy with the service provided here for my new addition; the Oris Pro Pilot 400x Laser. This is a watch that I’ve been eying for quite some time. Ellis, a sixth generation son of Marshall and Pierce, was helpful and knew the exact watch I asked about! He was flexible as we negotiated a great price and sealed the deal with a good bourbon!
