I scheduled an appointment to view a property 3 days in advance and was given a confirmation that I would be meet at said property. Once me and my family arrived we went to approach the door and were greeted by the homeowner with extreme disrespect and racial profiling, after explaining to him that we had and appointment to view the property with their listing agent. He rudely said that he wasn’t aware of anyone coming to view the property and said he wasn’t aware and was going to call the listing agent. We gave Marti Hampton a call as we were confused on why we would have received the confirmation to come view the property only to have drove two hours for a no show. She then told us she would call an agent to meet us which she did and said that the agent would be there in 20 mins. We waited for about 15 minutes only to receive a call from said agent who then said she would be on the way and there within 30 mins. During the call she said that she would bring documents for us to tour the property and shortly later during the call says she didn’t want to waste her time coming if we already had a agent helping us which we didn’t. We felt extremely disrespected by both the seller and listing broker/agent, especially since we wanted to make a cash offer on the property if we liked the home. The way she and her agents conduct business is extremely unprofessional and rude. I wouldn’t do business with them is you’re a person of color or anyone for that matter. This home is located at 326 Country Way, Sanford, NC 27332.
