My bestie and I went there today for a massage. I had Orlando and she had Julienn. Omg it was an amazing experience. Everyone was so nice and friendly
My mom made two appointments (one for me and one for her). Apparently the masseuse who was supposed to do my massage quit weeks ago and no one rescheduled. The receptionist said that someone should have called my mom but no one did. There was no resolution besides one of us coming back several hours after the original booking time. I think it was very unprofessional. The receptionist was very nice and kind but I think as a business model this should not be able to happen. For a super large massage chain I think it’s very unprofessional.
I submitted paperwork to cancel my membership over two months ago and I'm still being charged. I had to go through a long, back and forth to get to that point. I called to resolve this issue (again) and the manager was yelling at her employees, screaming about how pissed off she was (I don't think this had anything to do with me). This person, in my experience, seems like a nightmare. I can only imagine how her employees feel. In the meantime, I've contacted the better business bureau and my bank. I highly recommend staying away from this business.
I usually don’t bother to write reviews but this felt warranted. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I booked online for a 4pm appt and I guess my appointment never went through, so they offered to put me in a 4:15 slot and have me wait in the waiting area. By 430 I had not been called to be brought back so I went back out to the lobby and the front desk receptionist was extremely rude and said they had no idea that I was waiting because the other front desk receptionist didn’t check me in as if it was my fault that no one checked me in. The masseuse was extremely rude when asking about my preferences, and when she began the massage, the pressure was extremely light and when I finally worked up the courage to ask for more pressure she side and went even lighter, almost out of spite. It felt like I spent $80 to have lotion rubbed on my body, which I could do at home for free. The bed sheets were gross and honestly if you were thinking of getting a massage don’t bother wasting $80 here, go to a local small business or a chiropractor office.
I've been a member at ME for two years and have gone to multiple locations up and down VA! Herbert is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever had! I have spine problems and at other locations I could barely walk after sessions due to my back locking up but I've not had any issues since finding him! Be aware, his books are full, there will be a wait, but it's so worth it!!
