We are a military family transferring here from overseas. It was extremely important for us to locate a Taekwondo academy that would provide traditional Korean techniques, disciplines, & respect. My daughter has been in TaeKwonDo since the age of 3. As a military child, she had to transfer twice before arriving here. This academy would be her third. Although, each Academy has their unique way of teaching, it was a top priority that our duaghter was recognized and evaluated for her previous tenure and experience in TaeKwonDo. Master Hwang was understanding, so he helped create an individual progress criteria for our daughter. This meant our daughter would have to demonstrate to all staff & instructors that she was equipped with the skills, committed to improvement, and dedicated to achieve all that was expected of her. We have been here 4months and our daughter has been thriving in his academy, she has already promoted up the ranks (belts) and has shown great strength and passion. Master Hwang, Master Ma, and his entire staff are remarkable at building confidence, instilling respect, and accommodating to student individual needs. We, as a military family and with Korean roots, highly recommend this academy for all ages. My son has started TaeKwonDo again and has been eager to progress.
I love Master Hwang and his classes. Our son attends and it has helped him so much as he struggles with staying focused and personal discipline. Even when he didn’t attend classes for a while due to transportation issues in our home, he reached out to me to check on us and see when he would be back in class. I love watching him and the other instructors interact with the kids, and they have a way of being firm and effective while making it fun and not intimidating. They are very up front about any costs or fees, and make the kids feel so proud when they level up a belt. I would recommend Master Hwang World Class Tae Kwon Do to anyone looking for a physical outlet for their child for any reason. The people there and their hearts alone make it worth paying for and committing the few days a week it takes for the kids to accomplish so much. 💞
My kids joined Master Hwang's class about 6 months ago. I have seen a lot of changes in my kids. They have more confidence and are learning what it means to be focused, to listen and to be still. They love learning and work hard to get the next belt. My son wants to earn a black belt and be part of the leadership. They have also been great with my daughter who is autistic. They do not look at her as someone who can't learn Tae Kwon Do, but someone who can learn it. I love that Tae Kwon Do teaches the kids many things including goal setting. I look forward to see them continue to grow and learn.

His technique has improved, his confidence has grown, and his discipline has strengthened, all while genuinely having fun. Master Hwang and Master Ma are passionate and dedicated leaders who bring contagious energy and enthusiasm to every class. They do more than teach Tae Kwon Do. They inspire it. Watching them motivate and connect with each student is uplifting, even from the sidelines as a parent. The student-leaders are also exceptional role models. They demonstrate professionalism, respect, and focus in every class, and it is clear that they take pride in mentoring the younger students. Their example reinforces the strong values that this school promotes both on and off the mat. This school is much more than a place to learn martial arts. It is a community built on respect, encouragement, and excellence. I am truly grateful that my family became part of this team. The positive impact they have had on my son’s confidence and character extends far beyond the mat. If you are looking for a program and team that builds strength, focus, and heart, this is it.
The Best Taekwondo Experience! I had an amazing experience at Master Hwang Taekwondo. All the instructors are kind and passionate about teaching, and I especially appreciate Master Ma for providing personalized guidance to the students. Recently, we hosted my twins' birthday party at Master Hwang Taekwondo, and it was absolutely perfect! The kids had an amazing time, and the event was fun, well organized, and engaging for everyone including the parents. The staff took care of every detail, making it a stress-free and unforgettable experience for us. I highly recommend Master Hwang Taekwondo to anyone looking for a great place to learn Taekwondo or host a special event. Thank you, Master Hwang team!
