We cannot say enough good things about Mathnasium or the confidence Scott and the team of tutors is instilling in our daughter. I have mentioned Mathnasium to a few of the parents at pick up and the wonderful ways our daughter has grown in school since starting. Scott you and your team of tutors have given Kate a renewed zest for going to school and have given her so much confidence in her math abilities. We cannot wait to see how she continues to grow in this program! Thank you!
Mathnasium has been a fantastic resource for our family. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, and the individualized approach really works. We’ve seen improved confidence and stronger math skills and test scores. Would definitely recommend!
Within two minutes of setting eyes on my son, and asking just two math questions, the owner decided that he couldn’t be helped. He expressed disbelief and was very dismissive that our son has been doing well in math, and seemed insistent that he maintain eye contact (for context: my son is autistic and badgering an autistic person to stare at your eyes is not a productive strategy and is in fact quite othering and cruel). The fact that there are numerous good reviews for this place but also a few people with similar experiences to us makes me think that the owner is selective in his dismissive, confidence-destroying attitude. One might even call this prejudice given the brief nature of our encounter. I am leaving this review here to alert other parents with neurodivergent kids to steer clear of this place. No doubt the owner would approve of this warning because less of us will bother him.
We’ve had a great experience at Mathnasium! The staff has helped my child build confidence, and we look forward to attending. The flexible scheduling and convenient hours are another plus.
Great experience so far at Mathnasium. Free assessment during which the owner gave us a lot of personalized attention. My child's learning objectives were based on her assessment and we get updates when she masters a skill. She loves working toward prizes.
