Out of 5 business and 1 personal return, only 1 business return was drafted correctly. We asked for the corrections to be made. Come to find out a month after filing when we finally got copies of the returns as filed they filed the incorrect draft versions.
Dennis Seigfried was the CPA assigned to do our taxes. He was great. He spent time with us to understand our issues and asked good questions which allowed him to complete the most accurate return. After our meeting he continued to communicate with us in a timely manner and was very responsive to our subsequent phone calls. We will definitely reconnect with him for our 2025 return.
Dennis Seigried of M&T prepared my tax returns for the last two years, the first year being fairly complex due extension deadlines and multiple business income sources, the second more straightforward, with data entry performed by his EA associate. With help of the company's data capture planner, things went quickly and smoothly. Their online return review, auto signature/initial system, and filing method is efficient and easy to use. I recommend them for anyone seeking a preparer for similar tax counseling and filing services.
