I want to thank the Adam Young and the whole team at the Irving Street location for their expert treatment and encouragement to restore the range of motion and stability. Adam was great to work with and tailored the program to encourage success. If I need therapy in the future I will ask for Adam help.
I found the group of physical therapists at the MedStar Health Orthopedic Center to be organized, motivated, and dedicated to ensuring their patients made continuous progress toward their recovery. Special thanks to Dr. Chen, DPT, who worked with me.

Recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery hasn’t been easy, but Medstar PT has been making it much easier! The staff at the Irving St location has always been super nice, helpful, communicative, and accommodating. I’ve never had an issue with insurance, lateness, etc and they remind me of my appointments. They have a diverse mix of physical therapists as well, both culturally and in age/ experience, so care feels really comprehensive. My phys. therapist, Kathryn Green, has been nothing but encouraging in my journey to recovery. She is always incredibly sweet and bubbly and really pushes me to do my best— she does an excellent job!
Adam Young is very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and considerate. Once you tell him what your goals are after surgery he’s very consistent with you in achieving your goals. I’ve made much progress with the exercises given to me. The entire staff is professional and great. Thanks to the orthopedic department!!!
