I booked my move through Bellhop and got connected with Serhii at Melrose. Serhii and his moving partner were excellent. My new apartment was a bit complicated to move into and they did it efficiently and carefully. I would highly recommend him if you’re trying to book a move.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, I had a terrible experience with Melrose Moving that I feel compelled to publicly share. The moving team was slow, did not follow my provided instructions (e.g., they loaded items into the moving truck that I had specifically told them not to and that I would personally transport myself because they were fragile, work equipment, or donation items, etc.), carelessly unloaded and dumped my things into chaotic piles at my new place, causing some of my fragile (and sentimental) items to break, and firmly insisted I give them a five star review before allowing me to render payment (i.e., one of the movers physically stood behind me and demanded I submit a five star review, which I promptly deleted after they left, and I am now leaving my true review). This cost me $1,400. Their behavior was disrespectful and made me uncomfortable. Following this experience, I reached out to management to let them know what happened, but they have yet to address any of my concerns—in fact, I received only an email justifying the movers’ disrespectful behaviors and was asked to provide receipts for my broken items, which I explained I do not have because the items were gifted to me years ago. Melrose Moving made an already stressful time even more distressing. Based on my experience, I will never use their services again, and I absolutely do not recommend them.
