Hot fresh melt perfection. 5/5 on everything. The music is playing at a pleasant volume. Food takes a few minutes, but well worth it. The ratios of veggies to cheese is just right. I’m a fan.
The food we got from here was so, so bad. I want to save someone else from having to throw away their meal like we did. We went inside this location and ordered our food to go. Service was eh. Not good but not bad. Restaurant seemed clean. We got fries, tator tots, a mega melt, and a southern fried chicken melt. The fries and tator tots were both incredibly soft (in a bad way) and flavorless. I tried putting them in the air fryer and adding salt but that couldn’t save them. Horrible. The chicken melt had an okay taste but had soggy, hot lettuce and random vegetables on it. They put the vegetables on the sandwich and then put it in the panini press or on the griddle or however they cook it. I’m not sure if that’s how the sandwich is supposed to come, but it’s awful. The texture of hot, gooey lettuce is never something I enjoy, personally. The mega melt was so bland I had to laugh. Terrible food. You’d have to actually try to make something so tasteless. I’m impressed. The photo is of the chicken melt. I did eat some. But we threw everything else away. Waste of $38.
1st time to this location. The staff were kind and the main part of the restaurant was clean. The bathroom needed attention but they were prompt to address it. Everything is made to order and fresh. I had the classic grilled cheese (Tuesday special) and the caramel shake. Both were good and filling. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. It was nice that they offer a military and student discount. I look forward to going back and trying other items.
I tried the Grilly Steak and the Chipotle Steak Fries. Personally, I liked the fries more—they come loaded with toppings, though I think they could use a bit more meat to balance everything out. The cheese was tasty, just wish it was a little more melted. The Grilly Steak, on the other hand, felt a bit dry. There was so much cheese that it overpowered the steak I could barely taste the meat. Maybe less cheese or more steak would help, and a good sauce could bring it all together. They do serve alcohol, which is nice, but the meals feel a bit pricey for what you get, especially since drinks aren’t included. There are about 28 seats inside, but the layout is kind of awkward probably due to the limited space.
My son and I just went and the service was amazing! They offered recommendations if needed. I can’t remember the name of my melt but it was delicious!! Everything was fresh!! The fries were nice and crispy!! My son swallowed his burger before I could get a picture but he said we will have to come back again!! Definitely agree!
