Came here with family on New Year's Day. They only had 5 flavors, which was not great. The one employee at the counter was on her phone, didn't even say hello when we came in, and wasn't very friendly when we came to the counter to pay. The New York Cheesecake flavor was good, as well as the fruit punch sorbet. Some of the fruit toppings looked old and a little gross.
It looks run down. Flavors are not great. Some weird gross flavors. Toppings were good though, and lot to pick from. The table and chairs were all dirty. Chairs had shoe prints all over it. Check out was strange and felt shady. My husband paid and he said the guy skipped to the screen and all it said was "pay now" so we never saw the total. Also never saw or had the chance to add tip. Orange leaf is better. Taste overall was decent, but not worth coming back to.
I have been going to this Menchie’s for a decade now and it has been going down in quality year after year. Today finally drove me to decide to never come to this location again. I don’t know if it’s a corporate thing but The flavors don’t ever change, they’ll have one of two new flavors based on the current new movie out. The rest of the flavors are always cake batter, Oreos ,vanilla ,chocolate and the stevia equivalent versions which taste horrible. Today I got there at 645 pm and they had only 3 working flavors. I went on a Tuesday for their 5 dollar fill your cup day for my children and they stated that they weren’t running that promotion due to a Veterans Day promotion of 6 dollar fill your cup (valid for one) this promotion is worse( cashier didn’t even bother to ask if I was a veteran which I was) and I had 5 dollars in rewards and the cashier said there was an issue with my rewards not syncing in the system and said there was nothing they could do. I’d highly avoid this location if I were you, and this is sad and not a good representation of the Lincoln heights area.
I've been to Menchie's in Lincoln Heights twice. The yogurt is tasty, and there's so many choices of toppings. I feel the yogurt flavors are limited compared to Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt shops. The price is based on the weight of your yogurt cup or cup with waffle cone bowl. So if you're on a budget, watch out for the toppings, as you'll have a $10 cup before you know it. This location offers shaded outdoor seating as well as indoor. I personally prefer the taste of Orange Leaf over Menchie's, but my 5 year old disagrees!!
Wow! This yogurt place is amazing! My kids were looking for a yogurt place and found this spot. They now love it! Great choices for every taste bud! Good customer service, staff is friendly and in a good mood. Prices are decent. You won't regreted, recommended!
