Rachel gave me my first professional haircut in 7 years. She did a wonderful job. She even made sure I was truly okay with the amount of length she was cutting off. She’s got loads of experience and it shows. I’m very happy with my cut.
I can honestly say it was the best decision to choose Meraki for my first haircut in two years! Skylar is an amazing hair specialist, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and took such good care of my hair. She gave me beautiful face-framing layers and added so much volume while still keeping my length, exactly how I like it. The final blowout was absolutely perfect! I have been hesitant to cut my hair for a long time because I was looking for the right person to trust, and I truly feel like I found that at Meraki. Thank you, Meraki and Skylar James, for taking such wonderful care of my hair! 💙
I went in as usual to get my roots touched up and some highlights. This time for some reason was a terrible experience. I've seen the same girl, Brynlee each time. The color I chose was a deeper brown/red color and I was told it really wont show unless in the sunlight. I was fine with that because I wanted something exactly that subtle. Well that unfortunately wasn't the case. I ended up with bright red and dingy yellowish tones. I left feeling down having spent over $150.00 and this blah hair job. Well that's not even the worse part. I get to checking it out in the mirror and notice some patchy gray areas throughout. The next day I called and spoke to the manager and she said to come in and Brynlee would touch it up. Ok cool, so I get their about 4 mins past the time I was scheduled in and the receptionist said that Brynlee informed her she couldn't take me because I was late. I'm flabbergasted at this point. I said I'm 4 mins late what is the late policy? She said 10-15 minute window. I tell her its been only 4 mins and I asked to speak to the manager. Once I started asking for the manager I heard from the back, "Oh it's fine I'm almost finished with my moms hair" so at this point I'm feeling pretty unwelcomed and a little confused. Well thats not even the kicker. After sitting with the dye and her touching it up, I come home and notice the gray patch that initially got my attention was STILL their! Wow, jus wow! Never again will I be going here. I did miss my appointment with her the previous time so im not sure if this was some kind of retaliation. While I was thier I told her the color didn't look like I just got it done the day before and she asked if I washed it.I didn't but even if I did ,one wash wouldn't make it look gross and old. She just replied "hmmm" so much for supporting local. I guess I'll be needing to find a different salon.
I’ve been getting my nails done at Meraki every 2-3 weeks for the last year and a half. The salon staff is always welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating as well as the environment of the salon is clean, beautiful, and happy. As fair as the nail services I get builder gel done by Charly which has completely saved my nails, they actually grow and are strong now and always done picture perfect. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with my experiences here and I recommend their services to everyone.
