I usually do my own taxes with TurboTax but I was going through a divorce and a friend recommended merchants accounting services. I delivered all of my tax information in QuickBooks on January 14th.I tried multiple times to set up an appointment to discuss my tax situation with someone nobody responded and I was told an appointment would not be necessary.on April 12th after three phone calls and many emails I finally received my tax return and was assured that it was filed. I also received a bill for over $300 for this service. it took many more calls and emails to get a full copy of all of my return and the attachments. Roger Fields failed to file my waiver of carry-back losses and later, when I tried to amend my return the IRS denied my claim costing me over $4,000. Merchants has refused to make the situation right, help me, or even apologize. Avoid like the plague. Go pretty much anywhere else.
