My husband and I were fortunate to find this amazing restaurant when we visited Dallas just before Christmas. We had such a nice experience that we went to this restaurant two days in a row for dinner. The food was SO good. We loved the short ribs, salads, venison, bread, steaks, potatoes — actually everything! The only thing that we would not order again was the Calimari. Everything else was truly amazing and that includes the cocktails and the service. Our first night we had the pleasure of receiving top-notch service from Cody and then the second night we had the honor of being served by Jalen. We so appreciate their hospitality and attentive service. One of the nights we were serenaded by four exquisite carolers. What a nice touch! I can’t forget to mention that the views from this restaurant are so special. Highly recommend for a special dinner out with friends and family!
My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner. The food we ordered was bland, it would have been better if we went to steak n shake across the street. The filet mignon was good but overcooked and Mac and cheese was okay. The only special thing about the grilled chicken pasta, corn risotto and baked potato was its blandness. The waiter had a problem, I asked him what was in the butter since it was sour and it had green speckles. He said “lots of things” then proceeded to name them but with a snappy attitude. This waiter has heard every line ever invented, he couldn’t have any time for my table. I do appreciate the birthday chocolate mousse, thank you! The hostess was nice, singer was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Took a client to dinner here based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The calamari was average at best, the steak cigars tasted more like basic steak egg rolls, the Caesar salad was dry, and the elk was chewy and undercooked. The only highlight of the meal was the risotto, which was excellent. Drinks were okay, and service was average for what’s considered a high-end steakhouse. Overall, disappointing experience given the reputation.
I stumbled upon this restaurant through a post I saw on both instagram and Facebook and decided to check it out. The restaurant was not hard to find at all and parking is plenty. From the time I arrived until the time I left, I felt welcomed. The hostess was very kind and pleasant and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I was seated immediately and the waitstaff was so kind. I went solo but they did a wonderful job making me feel seen and constantly kept checking on me to make sure I was doing okay. I had a glass of moscato , the prime rib special and for dessert I had the affogato. Everything was delicious! My prime rib was cooked to perfection and didn’t require any additional seasoning. The portion size was large and I had plenty to take home for left overs. This place is definitely a hidden gem and I would highly recommend for a solo outing, date night or a girls night or anything worth celebrating . I will be back. Such an amazing place.
Nice elegant atmosphere. The wait staff is very attentive. My husband's steak was cooked too long, but they brought him another cooked perfectly. Our waiter did grab my margarita too soon that I wasn't finished drinking, basically forcing me to order another (which I was going to do anyway, but I would have liked to finish the one I had). Overall, the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a fine dining experience.
