My children, 16 and 11, have learned and grown so much in the 8 months we have taken lessons. We have enjoyed watching them expand their knowledge of theory and appreciation of different genres. We are excited to expand to guitar this summer on top of piano and voice. This has been a great experience.
Sid has been an excellent piano teacher for my son who started lessons at age 6 in August. He makes learning fun and I’m so impressed with what he is able to play already. His December recital was very well done and great demonstration of all he has learned. We are really enjoying Metairie Music Academy for piano lessons.
I have been taking lessons from Sid for a couple of months now and my singing capabilities have vastly improved. His approach to teaching is pretty straightforward, easy to follow, and works for all levels of students. I highly recommend Sid for all your musical needs.
Sid is an excellent teacher! His musical knowledge seems limitless. I have been going here for a little while now, and I am miles ahead of where I was when I started as an intermediate guitarist.
My family enjoyed the recital this past Saturday. The students impressed me with their musical talents and the songs they played. It was awesome to see that. My sister told me that Sid works well with his students to teach them how to play music. I’ve seen my son Tim improve in his guitar playing since we started taking lesson with Sid about a year ago. He’s works with him teaching him different songs and ways to play songs. They both kind of hit it off and we are blessed to have Sid in our lives.
