Today I went through a heartbreaking experience and brought a small kitten to Miami Veterinary Specialists after it was hit by a car. Sadly, the kitten had already passed away. Even in such a painful moment, their team treated me with incredible compassion, kindness, and respect. They helped me immediately, did not charge me for anything, including the body disposition, and showed genuine concern for my emotional well-being. I am a nurse at Baptist, and I truly appreciate professionals who lead with empathy. I will never forget the humanity this team showed me in such a difficult moment. Thank you for the beautiful work you do for both animals and people

My dog escaped under the fence and, unfortunately, was hit by a car. He arrived at Miami Veterinary Specialists (MVS) in very bad shape, and from the very first moment, the team treated me with great professionalism and clarity. They were honest at all times, explaining step by step what was happening, the treatment options, and what we could expect. It was clear they did their best: they performed the necessary procedures, stabilized him, and were able to heal him. Now he is recovering well at home, thanks to God and the excellent care he received there. The staff was attentive, compassionate, and very efficient, even in such a serious emergency. Yes, it is a specialized hospital, and the costs are high (as with any serious emergency), but the quality of service, the specialists available 24/7, and the follow-up they provided are totally worth it when your best friend's life is at stake.

MVS is a great place to bring your dog if you have an emergency. My dog tore his left CCL completely about 1.5 years ago. We were referred here by our primary vet & Dr. Andrade & her team took excellent care of him during his TPLO surgery. This year, my dog tore his right CCL, which Dr. Andrade had already warned us could potentially happen. We moved 3 hours away, but still chose to take the drive because we knew Dr. Andrade & team would not disappoint. We called & told the front desk staff our situation. In less than 1 hour, Dr. Andrade's tech called me, gave me a consult appt & TPLO surgery appt for the same day, taking into consideration our long drive. They took excellent care of our baby & now he is on his way to a full recovery. I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially Dr. Andrade & her team.
