I came in yesterday to drop off my laptop for repair, and I left with a completely new machine, and honestly, I'm not mad about it. The entire experience reminded me why customer service still matters. It started with Hussein at the drop-off counter. What could have been a quick transaction turned into a genuine conversation. We talked about family, found some common ground, and he made the process feel personal rather than procedural. Then Jesse stepped in; I could tell he was in a leadership role. He walked me through the Priority Care plan and helped me understand how it would protect my investment long-term. Later, he informed me that the laptop's repair cost could surpass its value and gave me options as to which direction to take. He invited me back in to explore options. That's when I met Jacob. From the moment I walked up, he greeted me and got straight to work. He asked about my budget and what I use my laptop for as a business owner and even walked over to the tech area to see my old machine firsthand. He wanted to understand what I actually needed, not just sell me something. We talked specs, we talked workouts, and we shared some laughs. He made spending $1,200 feel like the right decision, not a painful one. I even got a chance to meet John, one of the technicians which is rare. It was nice to put a face to the person working on the equipment behind the scenes. At checkout, Paul and I ended up talking about laptop stickers and how appliances and electronics just don't last like they used to. A simple transaction turned into another real conversation. Throughout all of this, Jesse checked back in on me. We discovered we're both from New York. Then Andrew, the store manager, came by..sharp, professional, and handed me his card. That level of attention from leadership says a lot about how this store is run. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, every interaction felt genuine. You can tell this team actually cares about each other and the customers they serve. That energy is rare, and I noticed it. Thank you to Hussein, Jesse, Jacob, John, Paul, and Andrew. You made a stressful situation feel easy and even enjoyable.
I can always count on Micro Center for their expertise and knowledge of computers. I bought my first computer here back in May of 2003. It was a Power Spec with Windows XP Home Edition. It was an excellent computer that I enjoyed for 14 years. The computers that they sell now are also excellent. Consider getting a Power Spec PC as they are rock solid!
The staff at Microcenter are amazing and incredibly helpful! When I had an issue with a pre-owned product, Rachel and Daniel were able to get it resolved within a few minutes. They also price matched some switches when I found a lower price online. This was the best experience possible for purchasing electronics. I highly recommend purchasing from Microcenter as opposed to other outlets simply due to their awesome customer service.
First trip to micro Center today. I've been a Best Buy guy forever. But I gotta tell ya...my experience today might change that. The aesthetics of the store aren't sexy at all. If Best Buy were the Homecoming King, then Micro Center would be the computer nerd. What it lacked in ambiance, it completely made up for in tons of staff, ALL of whom were shockingly friendly, helpful and efficient. I bought the computer I went there for (rather than waiting days for it at Best Buy). The manager came over to thank me personally for my purchase and asked about my experience and hoped I would come back, since this was my first time. What? The girl at the checkout was all smiles and proudly told me they were better than Best Buy after she asked my if I found everything i needed. Seriously, this place is where real computer people seem to go and I can see why. It was a remarkable and surprisingly pleasant experience. Kudos to Micro Center!
Had a great experience at Micro Center! The staff was super helpful—knowledgeable without being pushy—and made it easy to find exactly what I needed. I ended up buying a new laptop at a great price, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I also spent some time checking out their 3D printer section, which was honestly just fun. They even let you take home a little printout, which was such a cool touch! 😃 Overall, great selection, good prices, and a team that actually knows their stuff. Highly recommend if you’re shopping for tech or just want to geek out for a bit.
