Was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in immediately set the tone for a great experience. Joey was welcoming and professional told him I had an appointment with Oliver, was very easy to book through Booksy super convenient. The shop itself is very clean with a great vibe and good music playing. Payment was smooth; I paid cash, but they also accept card. They even have hair gel and other grooming products available for purchase. Overall excellent atmosphere wide array of staff well-run barbershop. Highly recommend Millwood Barbershop if you’re in Charlotte. Very easy parking.

I was warmly welcomed by owner Joey and referred to barber, Harold to complete the shaved off look that I was going for. I didn’t expect to be so emotional, but I’m so pleased and feel comfortable confident and beautiful again. Thank you guys! Posting before, and after with the inspiration look of Mae Martin. I will be back for the tidy up.
Oliver (insta: oli_blends) did a great job with my skin fade and straight razor shave, he really knows his craft and shapes the experience around how you are feeling that day. The shop was fun and welcoming, recommend if you need a trim or to change up your whole look.
Visiting Charlotte and needed a barber. I first tried H&F in South End, but the overall vibe and barbers’ attitudes were so bad that I removed the cape and walked out before the cut even started. Thankfully, I found Midwood Barbers. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and appreciated. Tim did an awesome job with my cut and was genuinely personable. Highly recommend this place. Will be my go-to whenever I’m in Charlotte. FYI, they only take cash. They do have an ATM on site.
