My first time here was a great experience, well organized store and lots to choose from, nice staff too. You will definitely find what you need here and with a great price.
Spoke to Shawn over the phone who helped me set aside the best Canon RF kit, then took the time to meaningfully evaluate a large DSLR kit to get the best trade in value. Will definitely do business here again
I appreciate visiting a shop where I can try out gear and talk to nice, knowledgeable people. Shawn Gan in particular has been very helpful to me, and I am happy to recommend him to my photographer friends. Mike's Camera also offers very fair and competitive prices. Check them out!
Mike’s Camera Store is AMAZING!! I own two cameras from them, bought a few years apart. Those experiences were great both times. Today I went in to purchase a new charger for one of my cameras as it no longer charged, and the employee that assisted me, (super nice man, I wish I remembered his name!) Pulled a charger off the shelf, demonstrated how to use it and how to set it up out of the box which was lovely, but then said I think I have an extra one I could just give you. He ended up having the exact kind I was looking for (a dual charger) as a spare and gave it to me free of charge! I was amazed. Despite all the robberies they are still so giving and kind! Great experience today as well as the ones I’ve had in years past. So grateful this store is around and in business. They’re a great asset to the community! I highly recommend supporting Mike’s. They’ll have me as a customer for a long time. Thanks Mike’s, you guys are the best!!
I am a frequent customer at this store, before today I would have given a 5 star review as others have. Today, however, I was dismayed and uncomfortable going into this store. After multiple robberies, the windows are boarded up, the inventory is limited and the staff is clearly traumatized. As a victim of a home invasion robbery myself, I was anxious and wondered if someone might come in to harm or rob while I was there. They seriously need security at this store. The guys that work there are amazing, and have literally spent hours helping me over the last decade. The bag I went in for was not available, likely it had been stolen. No way I’m driving to the other store in Dublin.
