This place has such a great vibe, super cool hangout space with lots of character. The service was great as well. That said, my brewed coffee tasted like water, truly bad especially for Sac standards. My husband got a chai latte which was barely warm - and he picked it up straight from the bar and drank right away. Too bad, loved the ambiance not a fan of the drinks.
I just moved into town, and I pass by this shop daily now. I tried the seasonal Apple Hill Iced Oatmilk Latte and it's pretty good. I like that they make their syrups in-house and they aren't terribly sweet (I don't typically put sugar in my coffee). I also love a simple menu, and it is indeed very simple with 2-3 seasonal crafted drinks. The atmosphere is cute and a handful of seating from what I saw while waiting for my drink. I was planning on trying a pastry, but I didn't see anything that caught my eye with the presentation. I was surprised to see that the tax and tip were included in my drink! I thought the barista at the register closed the charge but they informed me. There is a wheelchair lift that is accessible via the patio and I waited less than five minutes (Sunday morning around 11am). The team was friendly and kind, and greeted me upon arrival. It appears there is wifi and dog-friendly from the looks of it!
The interior vibe here is really nice. There’s plenty of seating inside and out. Parking it a bit tough since there’s a bit of construction on the cross street. The matcha was decent. I wouldn’t say it’s impressive but it wasn’t bad. My fiancés latter was really tasty and smooth. He really enjoyed it.
Milka Coffee Roasters has a really great vibe—set inside a charming old Victorian, it feels cozy and unique. The service was super friendly and my iced mocha was pretty solid. Prices are also really straightforward since everything’s included (tax, tip, milk choices), which I definitely appreciate. That said, the space is all stairs, so it’s not stroller or wheelchair friendly, which makes it tough for some people. Also, the pastry situation could use some work—the presentation isn’t great, with pastries kept in a glass bin up front that felt like staff were just rummaging through. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a coffee and hang out if you’re able.
Milka Coffee Roasters is serving up charm, vibes, and a healthy dose of cozy quirkiness. Set inside an old Victorian home, this spot is basically grandma’s house—but make it Instagrammable. It’s cozy, warm, and just the right amount of awkward, with the house’s original layout. Their menu keeps things refreshingly simple—think coffee classics and quirky house specialties that dare you to try every single one. But fair warning: their drinks are a bit of a wild card. When they’re good, they’re “text your friends immediately” good, easily earning four enthusiastic stars. :star::star::star::star:️ But on those off days? Oof, it’s rough. Half-star ratings aren’t a thing, so here we are. Big props for including tax in the prices—because who wants to math before you have had your coffee??? Not me. The staff is super friendly, further boosting Milka’s cozy charm. Plus, they offer curbside pickup, proving they truly understand how I not only want to stay in my pajamas but also not talk to people. Bonus points: Their coffee beans are sustainably farmed and fair pay focused, from grower to barista, so you can caffeinate guilt-free.
