I'm the type of person who really shy away from self portraits, this is because I tend to focus on my flaws. Well, when Millicent approached me and requested a photo shoot I was totally surprised and startled because I did not think I was a good subject for a photo shoot and secondly I was only in Chattanooga for some needed R and R and taking pictures or preparing to take picture was the last thing on my mind! However, I was honored with the request because I know that Millicent has a great photographer's eye, so I guess she was seeing something. As the universe would have it, I found a great dress at this neat flea market in Chattanooga on the same day that the pictures were to be taken! The shoot was lots of fun and I felt great and rejuvenated afterward. I guess this was also part of my R and R . And more importantly, the pictures were totally amazing!!! I saw me in a different light. Thank you Millicent.

The process was very comfortable and accommodating. I felt like my input and questions were well-received and that meant a great deal. The environment was laid back and not overly stressed and that was felt and seen in the final product. The quality and creativity was seen in my photos as well. Millicent talked through each phase of the session and explained what she was about to do and the purpose before she snapped the photo.
