Bought a table 3 years ago, after 2 months it start bending from the middle they exchanged it under the warranty, the warranty was for 5 years, its bend again called Modani this time they claimed the warranty is through third party, which is impossible to talk to. The product they sell is bad quite I paid almost 8000$ for the table
We were very pleased with the delivery and set up of our new furniture. Everything thing were delivered properly, one sofa was little damaged but was replaced. Overall great service. Guys get kudos. This review is about Modani Houston LLC. (Galeria Store), and United Plan, which company carries, at a price, for extended warranty for Modani’s furniture. Both companies are very poor in what they do and have absolutely no respect to their customers. I bought a dinning set at Modani ( Galeria) about two-years ago, which table was made out of reclaimed wood (Andara Dinning Table) together with a 5-year extended warranty plan from Uniters Plan. Table set, tax, plus warranty costs surpassed $7,000. The table sagged in middle so badly that the wooden-top cracked in the center and the glass top was stressed to a point that was nearing failure as well. First, I called Modani’s customer service and was informed that I had to file a claim at the extended warranty company. Then, I filed the claim early in November and never got any contact from warranty company. Called them on November 19th to be informed that my table is no longer covered because I informed that the table was sagging (term listed in their site) and I stated that the sagging start happening 60 days ago and they cover problems that happened in the last 30 days. In fact, this warranty service is a scheme! They have no intention of covering anything and Modani, the company that sold me this warranty service, does not care for what is happening neither to the furniture nor to extended warranty that they sold to me. I really had a bad experience with Modani from the beginning. It is a very poor quality company. They do not stand behind the quality of the product that they sell and even their delivery date commitment has absolute no value to them. They charge you for the delivery, but they do not do it at the time they committed to you. I had part of the furniture I bought delivered almost one year after committed delivery date. If you are considering buying furniture from Modani, think twice, you are at risk of buying more problems than furniture. Look for another furniture company, it will be better for you.

Today I called to return a piece of furniture that was not functional for the space I wanted and they told me that I had to return it to Miami, it is not fair that I have to bear the value of the return, I told them that I took it to the store in Houston to buy a dining room and they gave me the credit and they did not accept it either, so they do not take care of the customer, unfortunately I will not buy more in that store. Is Sad that they treat a loyalty customer like this
