If you want to restore and preserve your high quality forever furniture, this is the place. I travel from Las Vegas to California to have my vintage furniture repaired and restored because Aaron Moore’s shop is the only one I trust. Moores Refinishing did an incredible job restoring two walnut night stands that had quite a bit of termite damage and wear and tear. They even re-built one of the legs, and you can’t even tell! They look beautiful, and I am so happy with the result. I tell everyone I know that this place is the best restoration place for furniture lovers and collectors.
We had a flood and our Danish teak furniture was seriously damaged. Aaron Moore was knowledgeable, professional and did an incredible job repairing the damage. In fact he improved the pieces by using solid teak for the bases of the damaged pieces. We have had him work on several other pieces since then and he always does an amazing job. So glad we found him and now he is our go to.
Aaron Moore and Moore’s refinishing did an exemplary job restoring the original George Nelson CSS Shelving unit that I had inherited from my parents. I found Aaron by through Hologram House, when I asked her to recommend someone. I’m so glad I found Aaron! Communication was easy and he quickly put me to ease about his experience and skill with the CSS unit. His knowledge was evident in the first 10 minutes when he showed me how to change the height of the uprights by adjusting a simple screw. Aaron kept me informed of his progress every step of the way. I got to see photos of the clean-up, sanding and repair. He was able to remove a significant layer of nicotine stains from over 50 years ago. There were some parts that needed to be re-glued, and Aaron did that as well. Aaron and his helper came over and did the install and it looks great! I enjoy it every day. I’m so glad I found Moore’s Refinishing!
I was very happy with Aaron’s work. I had a mid century credenza that is multicolored and had rusted metal legs. Aaron was able to restore it to its natural beauty. It’s been in our family for over 50 years. So grateful to have this beauty back!
Aaron worked with me every step of the way while refinishing my great grandfather’s rocking chair. He was able to give me information about the time period of the piece and even helped me find someone to upholster it. It turned out great and can now be handed town to future generations.
