From the moment we walked in, our experience at Morton’s Steakhouse in Louisville was nothing short of exceptional. The service alone deserves a standing ovation. Our server, Sarah, was truly top-notch. Her recommendations were spot-on, her timing was perfect, and on top of that she is absolutely hilarious. She made us feel completely comfortable and turned what could have been just a great dinner into a genuinely unforgettable night. Demi, the hostess, went above and beyond in the most thoughtful way. She added a special touch to our table to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, took our picture, and consistently checked in to make sure we were happy and comfortable. That extra care truly meant so much to us. Ethan, the assistant manager, seated us and even helped deliver our food, which speaks volumes about the teamwork and pride at this location. Between Sarah, Demi, and Ethan, we felt genuinely celebrated and cared for — not just served. On top of the incredible service, the food was an easy 10/10 across the board. Everything was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for in a top-tier steakhouse. This was hands down the best service we’ve ever had, and it made our anniversary incredibly special. Morton’s Louisville has set the bar extremely high, and we can’t wait to return.
My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here last night and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Let me preface, this is not a front of house problem, this is specifically about the food and back of house management issue. We’re not super well off financially, we get one night a year to have a true fine dining experience and this experience was unfortunate. We spent over $300.00 (after tipping) on disappointing food. The Wagyu meatballs were cold, the Caesar salad was pickley, the baked potatoes were greasy and also cold and our steaks were decent but unimpressive for the price. Our waitress (Anny I believe was her name) absolutely amazing! I just feel like if you’re going to be considered as a fine dining restaurant, there should be a kitchen manager that makes sure the quality of the food being served is exceptional as this is a pricey establishment. If I wasn’t scared the waitress would lose her tip, I would dispute this charge from my bank because I don’t feel the value was worth it.
10/10! We loved celebrating our 6 year anniversary at Morton’s Steakhouse. Sarah and Deja were phenomenal servers! The 7 ounce wagyu filet mignon was cooked to perfection with the Caymus butter on top….. no words! We will be back!
Upon arrival, I was well greated and my table had a birthday card and decorations on it as they were made aware it was the reason for our reservation. It was a well thought out experience. I just have to get right into the good news : litterally the best New York Strip Steak I have even eaten. I chose the black truffle butter to accompany the steak and it was just amazing. Cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly. I had burbon (mid range choice im not a millionnaire) and it was great discovering local burbon in the region of Kentucky. The waiter was really good at his job. The chocolate desert you see in the pictures is made from scratch when you order it (it takes about 20 minutes to make once ordered) but it is worth it. the sauce that accompanies the cheesecake had a hint of burbon as well which was a nice touch. I could talk more but everything was good so I litterally don't have much more to say other than praises for this place. ratings should be higher. oh almost forgot. they make a fresh loaf of bread as you can see in one of the pictures. arrives hot and delicious. Concept of the place is you have a plate with your meat on it and you order sides that they put in the middle of the table to share with others.
From the moment you walk into Morton’s and walk down the stairs into their main dining area, you are captivated by the smell of a perfectly seasoned and seared steak. Morton’s steakhouse knows what they are doing and does it well. They don’t recreate the meal wheel, they perfect it. The lobster mac and cheese would be enticing enough, but they have more than just delicious main courses available. The cocktail list is adventurous and fun, with a twist on traditional delights (one of my favorites involved bacon). And don’t get me started on dessert. I will return!
