I come into Motiva maybe 3 times a week, Mainly to get ice and at times I purchase product (I have receipts to prove) Because I work in the community & we as a business promote MOTIVA to our clients. But the manager (Delores) whom I am extremely surprised that’s she’s a manager of a store or even over people, because she is the rudest person there. I’m not sure what her issue is with me asking for ice, but she ALWAYS has the biggest attitude with me. She never speaks or greets me, I’ve never heard her greet anyone actually. Sunday (today) I walk in she’s there with one other employee, NO ONE GREETS ME, I greet her as she approaches the register, I order my smoothie, and later I asked for ice, she immediately says “it’s 25 cents for ice” I said that’s fine” Then I asked “are you the manager?” She says yes I am, and I heard you complain about me” I said “yes, because you are the rudest person at this place.” And all she said was.. “I greeted you (which was a lie) and I’m not about to argue with you. I said “you don’t have to argue with me.” I grabbed my drink and left. She’s rude, I will not refer anyone else to this location. Nor will I spend my money at this location and of course bad news spreads fast. And DELORES is the bad news!
As a big fan of açaí, I was excited to check out Movita Juice Bar downtown, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t reflect the inviting wellness vibe I expected. We weren’t greeted upon arrival, and when we mentioned it was our first time, our server’s response was less than welcoming. Rather than walking us through the menu or offering recommendations, we were simply told, “I’ll give you guys more time,” which felt a bit dismissive. We ordered the Vita Bowl, Very Berry, and Activated Charcoal options. The fruit was fresh and beautifully presented, but the açaí base lacked the richness and flavor that make a bowl memorable — about a 6/10 overall. The toppings truly saved the experience. There’s potential here, especially with such a health-conscious concept and downtown location. With more attention to customer service and quality control, Movita could really stand out in the local juice and smoothie scene.
There is so many good things about Movita DTLA. I fell completely in love with their acai bowls, toasts, juices, shots and smoothies. It’s the perfect place for anyone to consume healthy organic foood & drinks. It’s especially perfect for those who go to the gym and want to get that protein or creatine intake of the day. The people who work here are so sweet and go above & beyond to make your customer experience a great one. I especially had an amazing experience with Dolores. They are also allergy friendly if you let them know when purchasing. I recommend this place for those on their health journey.
I love Movita Juicer Bar is one of my favorite places, everything is fresh and super delicious. The customer service is exceptional and the atmosphere is very pleasant
I'm here for the first time and I'm really enjoying it. The place is clean, it smells great, and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of options to suit all tastes. What I still don't know how to use is the loyalty program. I ordered the ginger juice with collagen, highly recommend! I’ll be back for sure, just a few steps from home 🏠
