We were happy with the technician and the service in general. We were only very confused that the estimated bill of $350-500 was actually over $700. No one not even the admin called to update us on the bill amount. So we were not prepared for a $700+ bill for a minor repair. This is hard for retired seniors, we must plan for unexpected cost!!
Daniel put in a new kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal for my kitchen and a ceiling fan in my guest bedroom. He was on time, very professional, and did a great job! I highly recommend him and this service.
I have a “real” handyman project in an older home that hasn’t been kept up so a lot of one offs to get done before winter. I was able to coordinate getting first phase completed. Professional Prompt Trustworthy and amazing follow through. Stayed on task at hand while listening to homeowners “ideas” on future projects that need doing and was pleased to know Mr.Handyman will be able to continue working on the installation of doors, windows and a myriad of other tasks that need doing moving inside. Looking forward to handing over my punch list knowing it’s in great hands w/ over 30 years of experience. I will post completed projects as they are finished.
Mark from Mr. Handyman came out and installed handrails in both of our bathrooms. He was very professional and did a great job. I am very pleased with his work and will definitely be using this business again.
Sent in pictures of repair ,, and then I was notified of when the technician would start ,, And estimated cost , from the pictures sent in Well technician shows up ,, No materials,, for the job Had to run to get materials, 3 trips It was two pieces of Sheetrock , pipe wrap , and one piece of trim ,, for walls A job that took two days , when could have been one day ??? Also I was under the understanding that he would prep the sheets for painting,, well it wasnt ,ask he said he would have to charge more ?? I also ask about him replacing outside faucet He did , and took hours to replace,, He actually had to get parts , another trip ??? This is very questionable??? Also it looks like he knows how to work the clock with less work ,, The Sheetrock stay outside the truck for hours ,, the finally brought in the garage, and not replaced until the next day ,, He also was out at his truck , I guess organizing??? All I know is the last day to get one piece of trim in the house ,, took a couple of hours ??? Like I said I was giving an estimate,, and it ended up being 1000 dollars more ??? And the faucets , a extra 250 plus ,, plus his time ,, parts that cost maybe 50 ,, The Sheetrock 2 pieces maybe 60 Tape and mud , maybe 25 Trim maybe 50 Wow what a mark up you have ??? Usually I don’t complain,, about things But this was ridiculous!!! Out of the 16 plus hours ,, the tech maybe work half of that ,, On yeah he was a expert at everything,, he he talk about it a lot ,, Well I don’t understand when you have a general knowledge of the job , why was he not prepared?? 1000 dollars over the estimate,, wow ?? It should be known,, in the past I did contract work in houses !!! I’m sorry , for this , but I just felt taken !!!
