We had Caleb from Mr. Rooter swing by to install a couple of new toilets. The professionalism and workmanship was outstanding. He worked efficiently and got the job done. The experience on the phone with Shelby was great, very friendly and helpful setting up an appointment. They were able to come out the same day, which we appreciated. Calvin Awalt was awesome, he was professional, punctual, and even took the time to fix a few issues with the previous plumbing at no extra charge, which I really appreciated. He was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Calvin! The only downside with Mr.Rooter is pricing transparency. No prices were provided over the phone. Only once you pay to have the plumber come to your home are you provided with pricing options. In our case, the total resulting cost with Mr. Rooter for the exact same product model and installation was 38% more expensive than what Pete the Plumber had quoted over the phone with an all-in price. Overall, the workmanship and service were very good, but clearer upfront and more competitive pricing would greatly improve the experience.
I recently had major plumbing work done, including the replacement of three broken faucets, installation of a valve to address long-standing water pressure issues, and replacement of a hot water heater that was nearing the end of its life. Jonas arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done to resolve the water pressure problem. He walked me through the available options for faucets and the hot water heater without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. Everything was explained clearly, including the scope of work and how long it would take, and the timeline was accurate. The quality of Jonas’s work was excellent — clean, professional, and clearly done with care. It was obvious that he takes pride in his work and genuinely values providing a positive and stress-free experience for the customer. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter for plumbing services, and I specifically recommend asking for Jonas for your needs!
This was not an easy problem to figure out. My plumber was very patient, professional and determined. I appreciated very much that a 2 pm call on a Saturday was no problem -and no “emergency “ fee- call. I highly recommend Oops I didn’t hit post- so now I can add more This job was a 3 day dig and foundation break. Never something anyone would want to deal with. However, Carlos and his crew were truly spectacular. So professional, super clear at letting me know what was going on and very patient. They left my house as clean as they found it. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Over the weekend, we had some water backing up from the basement drain. My husband contacted Mr. Rooter and was able to send a technician on a Sunday! Calvin Awalt was an angel! It took him longer than usual to finish the auguring because of some issue with our main sewer pipe but he kept going until it is done. He was very PATIENT, kind and professional! I would only recommend Mr. Rooter for all your plumbing needs / issue. Great company, with amazing employees!
