Mrs. Melanie LiCausi has been working with my son since September 2025, and she has been absolutely amazing. When she began working with him, he was having a difficult time with math. Within just one month, he was not only back on track but also able to work ahead of his class so he wouldn’t fall behind again. My son is easily distracted, and Mrs. LiCausi does an excellent job redirecting him and keeping him engaged. Her patience and teaching style have made a noticeable difference both academically and in his confidence. I see us using Mrs. LiCausi throughout the years for my son’s schooling.
Mrs. L is fantastic! We needed some extra support with writing and grammar. She was able to help my kiddo find the confidence to overcome the challenges. She broke down the structure of writing in a way that was easy to visualize and understand. We did a lot of short reading activities and then wrote a paragraph on what we learned. As well as, giving us lots of examples and tools to help at home.
I highly recommend Melanie. She is so sweet, friendly and patient as well as great with adapting to each child’s personality and learning process in helping them understand their homework at a pace that feels right for them. She is very thorough and makes sure to work backwards and explain concepts that kids are confused about so that they can connect it to something easy that they already know. Kids can be at ease working with her as she helps them become more confident in their learning.
We are a new homeschool family and it has been so helpful having Melanie work with our boys. In just several weeks we have already noticed huge improvements with my son’s reading level and comprehension. Melanie is kind and always creates a welcoming learning environment. She has been a GREAT asset and we would highly recommend her!!
Melanie has been a phenomenal math tutor to my sons! Her teaching background & passion to truly help my sons has exceeded our every expectation. She has helped my children gain confidence to tackle math and they sincerely adore her. She truly is the best!
