Clay is excellent at doing his job very professional and a kind person.
As soon as I came in for my tattoo consultation with Clay a couple of months ago, I knew I was in great hands. He made me feel comfortable right away, his shop was super clean, his prices were extremely reasonable, and it was clear he was an expert at his craft. During the actual tattooing, Clay was great to chat with as he worked. And he routinely checked in to make sure I was tolerating the pain okay. Watching Clay bring my tattoo to life was a privilege—his talent is incredible. I am blown away at how well it came out, and I am so happy to have this work of art on me forever!
Mt. Vernon Body Art is a great place to get tattooed. The shop is conveniently located close to 83, extremely clean, and has a punk/neogoth/hip-hop/anarchist vibe. Real kitsch and artsy. Clay was a excellent artist to work with. He totally understood the concept I was going for and able to incorporate all three elements in my tattoo. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone that wants quality work.
I originally came here back in January for my nose piercing with Matt. I was really nervous but he was super sweet, informative on the entire process and I was and still am super pleased with the result. From then, I was interested in coming back to get a tattoo with Clay. I had my consultation 6/15 and then had my appointment yesterday 8/31. Clay SURPASSED anything I’d imagined for my tattoo and I’m so in love with it. He’s super chill, kind, funny, and just made my experience the best. I will absolutely be coming back to get more done.
¡Experiencia increíble! La tienda está limpia y agradable. Me dijeron durante años que no podría conseguir un aro para mi piercing nasal porque estaba demasiado hacia atrás. Resumiendo, permití que mi agujero se cerrara o al menos eso creí. No solo Matt logró abrir mi agujero y evitarme el dolor y el costo de un nuevo piercing nasal, ¡sino que además conseguí mi aro! Fue muy informativo y atento. ¡Recomendaría este lugar para perforaciones!
