Musicology is NOT just a regular old baby music class. It is so much more!!!!!!!!! The teachers have meticulously researched and reviewed the best baby brain development and put it into the class in a thoughtful and engaging way to help the caretakers feel confident in the songs and tools and to make sure baby is having fun and in a healthy learning environment. Miss Mary is literally an angel and such a blessing in her caring voice and presence. She clearly loves all the babies they are her own and sings the songs beautifully! As a new mom I had no idea what to do to be a “good mom” in terms of effective play with my baby and she showed all of us what to do!! Months later I still sing these songs to my baby. We had to move out of state and I miss musicology dearly and am so grateful to have gotten the pleasure of attending with baby Jay! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Enrolling my kids at Musicology Scottsdale has been one of the best decisions I've made as a parent. I started taking my first son when he was just 2 months old, and he started speaking super early—now at 2.5 years old, he can hold full conversations! I truly believe music has played a huge role in his development by engaging important parts of the brain. Ms. Mary, Ms. Jenny, and all the teachers are phenomenal—they really know how to connect with the kids and make learning fun. I love the program so much that I've now enrolled my 6-month-old, and he's loving it just as much! If you're a new parent looking for an enriching experience for your baby, look no further. You won’t regret it!
It is truly impossible to put into words how INCREDIBLE this place, the teachers, the curriculum and the community are. I have seen my baby light up and interact in ways I never knew were possible. Thanks to Musicology, he already has a deep connection to music, rhythm & instruments at just 7 months old. The excitement and support every child feels in these classes are palpable. Mary works so hard to create an experience that not only helps the child grow and develop through the joy of music, but also empowers the parents to learn and develop with their child too. The classes have the perfect balance of thoughtful, research-based structure and opportunity for the children to explore/create on their own. I would recommend Musicology to anyone and everyone! It is the highlight of our week!
Musicology was a huge part of both my children's childhoods. I have always loved music and already knew some of the benefits for babies and toddlers, but I signed us up mostly for the chance to socialize with other mamas and do something fun with my babes that I didn't have to plan! Musicology turned out to be a whole lot more than that. Their program is research-based and the curriculum is thoughtfully curated to be engaging, motivating, and provides the history and culture of music. Beyond that, the team at Musicology truly cares about your child and your family. They rally behind families who may be experiencing difficult seasons of life and they regularly give back to the community. You won't regret going, but you will definitely regret not giving them a try!
Musicology is a must do! My daughter Dylan is 19 months and was in the Mini Mozarts class with Ms. Jill. Dylan was super shy with other kids but this really helped her learn to share and play with others. Dylan loves music and dancing! This definitely was perfect to do before she starts school this January! Highly recommend!!!
