We had the absolute best experience with our wedding hair and makeup artists Bailey, Kayla, Brittany and Aubrey! From the moment they arrived, their energy was so positive and fun, which made the whole "getting ready" morning feel relaxed and fun. They are incredibly skilled at what they do- every member of the bridal party looked absolutely stunning, and each person's hair and makeup perfectly suited their style while still tying everything together beautifully. Not only did they make us all feel gorgeous, but they also brought such warmth and excitement to the day. I can't recommend them enough to any bride looking for talented artists!
I was so happy with the hair and makeup for the wedding! They were so timely, communicative leading up to the wedding, and also listened to mine and my bridesmaid's requests. They were also super easy to work with for both our mothers who were hesitant on having their makeup done, but they ended up loving it! They also fit in with the bridal suite so well. They were professional but also were able to join in the conversation and jam with the music, and they were just such a great addition. One of the best vendor experiences I've ever had!
I can't recommend Naturally You Artistry enough! I planned a wedding in KC while living in another state, so I was very reliant on Google reviews, hence why I'm contributing back to them. Melissa was responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Skylar was our hairstylist for the wedding day, and she was amazing. She was extremely open to my thoughts at the hair trial, and by the end of the appointment, I was really happy with my hair, which she replicated seamlessly on wedding day. Skylar worked very efficiently on the wedding day and made it through 8 ladies' hair in just a few hours. All around, I was very pleased with Naturally You Artistry for our wedding and recommend this business to anyone planning their own wedding.
I had Alyssa do makeup and Mandy do hair for myself (the bride), 4 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers and overall they both did a great job! They were professional, punctual, and sweet to work with on the day of my wedding. Alyssa was able to nail the 'natural glam' look that I wanted and my makeup lasted the whole night with little touch-ups needed. My hair was a little more difficult has it's naturally very straight and I wanted some soft curls, but Mandy did her best and listened to the small tweaks I ended up making from trial to the day-of. She gave me tips to prep my hair to hold curls the best it could which I appreciated. Full disclosure that I did have to re-curl my hair a few times through the day as it was pretty windy for outside photos, but again with my hair type this was expected and we came prepared with extra curlers to the venue. All of my bridesmaids and the mothers looked great and felt confident going into the day!
