This is my new go-to for tailoring. I was leaving for vacation and needed two pairs of pants hemmed ASAP. When I called, they were so accommodating and asked me to come right over. They had the pants perfectly done by 3pm the next day! The fast turnaround and quality work were amazing. A true lifesaver!
I walked into Nguyen Alteration on a Wednesday afternoon with four pairs of pants that needed 2 inches removed from the waist. I asked if they could be ready by Sunday. The woman told me they’re not open on Sundays. I said okay, how about Saturday? She then said they wouldn’t be ready by Saturday either. I asked if there was an option to expedite the work, and she said no. As she came to the front of the store, I let her know that timeline wouldn’t work for me. She then asked, “Why are you just now bringing the pants?” I was shocked by the question. It felt rude, uncalled for, and completely unprofessional. My timeline is none of her business. I calmly explained I had just received them the day before, and told her I’d look elsewhere. There was another woman in the store who looked visibly uncomfortable during the exchange and gave me a kind smile on my way out. I ended up going to Sunny Alterations less than half a mile away. I got kind and respectful customer service, a fair price, and my pants were ready by Saturday with no issues. Wouldn’t recommend Nguyen Alteration based on this experience.
The woman who owns the store was extremely courteous and professional. I bought a dress from Windsor and needed alterations, and she delivered. The alterations turned out perfectly! I would definitely recommend this business for alterations service.
