I'm giving a review based on the customer service, it has nothing to do with the food. I've been here before. Moving forward, I am disappointed with the outcome of my reservation. I reserve a day on 2-14-26 and there is obviously a reason for that reason. I was asked if I would mind sitting with another couple, I did say yes I would mind. Mind you this reservation was placed on 1-14-25. The hostess said ok. I now receive a call six days later telling me I can't have it with just my wife and I, she said is there anything else I can do, I said yeah a discount, she said no we can't do. She didn't even try. There is a reason that for RESERVATION! not so you can share a table with other strangers.
Staff may have been trying, but this place is completely mismanaged. Despite only having a few tables seated, they were clearly overwhelmed and unable to keep up with orders. They remain active on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub while having no realistic capacity to fulfill those orders, wasting the time and money of drivers and customers. This is flat-out disrespectful to delivery drivers, whose income depends on timely pickups. When I arrived, another customer was already trying to leave because of the wait, and staff admitted they had no idea when my order would be ready. If a restaurant can't handle its workload, it needs to pause delivery apps instead of passing the consequences onto drivers and customers. As it stands, this place is not worth anyone's time.
I have been going there for my sushi cravings for over a decade and it's consistently good and reasonably priced. Their tepanyaki is also good with chefs that have been there for years so their flare is on point. The servers do their best to make sure i feel attended to and like part of the family. The atmosphere feels like I'm outside in old Japan with the decor...but I'm inside, I like it, it's why I drive past about 3 different sushi places to get there.
Cooked at the "table" per your order with interesting "show" during the cooking phase. I would recommend a couple to small groups to visit and Enjoy!
Reliably good sushi, friendly service, cute details in their interior! It’s my fave sushi in the neighborhood. I’ve gone 3-4 times in the last few months, and they always got specials on the board or new rolls on the menu. It makes each visit interesting! It’s never super crowded and the sushi is so fast for how much crafting each roll takes! Recommendations: Crazy Vegas Roll, Pure Harmony, and any vegetarian roll with sweet potato! I haven’t tried their happy hour (M-Th 1130-5pm), but I plan to bc look at all the deals!
