The cake was cute, however I think she may have taken too many orders than she had availability for. The letters were sloppy, both the cutout and the placement. The morning of my son's party, she told me she ran out of fondant (for which you have to pay extra) and used sugar sheets in its place. You can tell the difference. The letters weren't crisp and you could see the black writing on the white sugar sheets that were drawn. She also ran out of professional cake boxes so my $200 cake was wrapped in a large shipping box that could not fit in a refrigerator. Cake also tasted ok, but not like these reviews seem to lead on. Seems like a nice lady but wouldn't use again.
Ordered a red velvet cake with green frosting, I was very basic and plain but they made me exactly what I asked for with much more flair. The cake was ordered on short notice and completed quick. Great service and beautiful cake.
Usually cakes this decorative do not taste great, but this cake was INCREDIBLE. Children and adults all agreed it was the tastiest cake we’ve ever had. We did cookies and cream flavor, and had real cookie pieces inside. It was moist, dense, delicious. To top it off, I called as a Hail Mary, as we just moved into a new home from another state and my son’s birthday was the next day. Cassandra created a masterpiece custom cake in less than 24 hours. Pricing was great, service was great, cake great. 5 stars all day, will only be using this small business from now on for any cake needs.
The cake decoration was awesome for my baby shower however when I got my cake and it hit time to serve it it wasn’t so awesome the cake was a bit dry and there was left parchment paper in the center. I was really sad because it went with my baby shower theme and was beautiful however the cake quality and taste not so much it definitely was rushed outside was awesome inside a different story UPDATE!!! I pumped up my star review to four stars because Cassandra the owner reached out to me personally and apologized and gave me half of my money back when I didn’t ask so overall great customer service kind people who made a mistake and made it right thank you Cassandra for the best wishes and making it right
Simply a fantastic experience, quick turnaround and more importantly the taste and execution of the design and decorating was flawless. My family enjoyed the birthday cake more than any we could remember. It was a great value too for a custom cake of this quality. The birthday girl is a nurse and they captured what we wanted to honor her. All service and no attitude as some other prestigious local bakers we have experienced in recent years. Humble excellence with a willingness to listen and create a memorable cake that we wanted. We will use Noble’s sweet tooth cottage from now on.
