I would strongly encourage people not to do business with Northtown Collision center on Sheridan Dr. in Amherst, NY and I’m speaking from experience, I was in an accident with my 2020 Range Rover Velar last November and the damage to my vehicle was almost $30K, I had Northtown do the work because when I called Land Rover that’s who the recommended, huge mistake, they had the vehicle for almost 3 months and when I got the vehicle back, the front grill wasn’t properly on, the battery was completely dead and I had to take it over to Land Rover to get a battery replacement, I drove the vehicle for a couple of weeks only to have it overheating on me because Northtown failed to check the vehicle over before giving it back to me, cone to find out, the hose connecting to the coolin needed replacing, ever so nice I got my vehicle back, I had issues, now I’m told that I have a major oil leak in which I don’t have before until I let Northtown do thr work on my vehicle, this is by far the worst place that I have ever taken my vehicle to, they do horrible work, do not bring your vehicle to Northtown collision center. I am now in the process of looking into an attorney and possibly file a lawsuit against this business. I give this shop one star out of Five…..David Simmons
Really pleased with my recent interactions with Northtown Collision. My car was damaged, they sent a tow truck out to pick it up, and handled everything with insurance. There was a minor issue with insurance pay, and they worked with me and the insurance company to square it away (shout out to Derek!). Car was in great condition when I picked it up, repairs were done well.
Brought my 2023 Civic in for a minor bumper repair following getting rear ended. The paintwork is nearly flawless, I'm incredibly happy with it. What I'm less happy about is what happened to my car after they washed it. I had a ceramic coating installed on my car shortly after buying it to protect against scratches. Whatever they used to wash my car following the paint work absolutely covered it in swirl marks and water spots, even with the ceramic coating. I'll have to polish the car to remove the swirl marks, which will remove the expensive ceramic coating in the process. When I brought my car back to address it with a manager, he deflected blame saying that the ceramic coating must not have done it's job if their wash covered it in swirl marks, pointing to other cars in the lot that have the same marks. Now, I'll be out $1,000 to have a new ceramic coating installed. If you have paint work done here it'll be great, but don't let them wash your car if you care about the finish.
The service was very nice their front desk people were very nice and friendly with me. I brought my car in for front end damage. I got my car back and she looks beautiful. I am so happy with the service. my lady bug looks brand new. excellent job Northtown. I appreciate all the work you did for me. Thank you.
