Initially Alex had a face call with us and my son to discuss the learning outcomes we wanted covered in the sessions and also to discuss my sons interests and hobbies which he hoped to use in the lessons to engage my son. This tactic seemed to work really well as my son was engaged in all lessons, completed the homework each week very little resistance and started to produce more engaging work. We received weekly accounts of the sessions and the work produced alongside a breakdown of how well my son performed with those particular tasks. The outcomes were adjusted accordingly, dependant upon the outcomes of each session. Overall a very positive and beneficial experience
My son has been working with Alex to prepare for the STAT exam, focusing on reading and critical reasoning questions, and the results have been excellent.
