Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve in Plano is a wonderful escape into nature. The park is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful lakes and scenic dirt trails that make you forget you’re still in the city. We visited with our family and had a fantastic time exploring the trails and soaking in the fresh air. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed walk, enjoying nature, and spending quality time together. The natural beauty truly stands out, and we left feeling refreshed. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We walked the concrete trails in November on a nice sunny day. Very easy path to get around although it can wind without any clear directions on where you are going. A nice pond is there. When we came, the Nature Center was closed. There are park benches scattered throughout the trail, but not too many. There's a large pavilion with lots of tables and a fireplace. Plenty of parking space. The entrance is on Los Rios Blvd.

This trail was very easy with a nice view of the pond. Lots of high grass along the way, but plenty of space to walk, run and bike! I only walked the pave trail but you can also check out the trails through the woods. Nice place to take the whole family and enjoy!

The length of this trail is great and the scenery is beautiful. Ran a 5K through here with AMPT & I’ve just come with friends to enjoy running and walking the trail, even on the hottest days - it’s just that peaceful and beautiful. It’s a larger trail that goes pretty far out with just a lot of nature (the best), but I would suggest doing it with a buddy. Sometimes doing the whole trail alone as a lady doesn’t feel that safe. This is my favorite trail in Dallas though.
