My husband and I went on this tour yesterday and it was FABULOUS. Our tour guide was Jess who is a wonderful person who goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and valuable. She is sooooo knowledgeable about art, Perth, street artists in general, history, architecture, the local scene and she presents it in a funny, fascinating way. We saw beautiful, fanciful art and marveled at the beautiful, fanciful bars. Jess is a warm-hearted, delightful person and any guest would be lucky to have her as their guide! Two of the guests (who didn’t know each other) were repeat customers of Oh Hey WA and spoke so highly of the other tours they’d been on with this company. If I were a local or WHEN (not “if”) I visit Perth again, I’d be thrilled to take another Oh Hey WA tour! PS: my husband and I are both vegetarians and this tour had veggie options. We only looked at the food menu at one place (pizza) and the menu specifically offered vegan cheeze as well. We didn’t have the pizza bc we were full from a late lunch but everyone else raved.
Amber was fab leading our group on the Small Bar and Street Art tour. Highly knowledgeable about the art, artists and Perth history, so friendly and engaging, with seamless interaction at our bar stops. Love the deals along the way! Great work Oh Hey WA and highly recommend Amber as a guide ✨
Thanks so much Adie, it was a wonderful experience to do a walking tour with someone who is as passionate about Perth as you are. Thank you for all the highlights that you pointed out to us all the historic buildings the cafés, recommendations for restaurants. Some of the interesting questions you asked the group when we stopped to look at the Commonwealth Coat of Arms on the tour, about the kangaroo and the emu that can’t move backward, symbolizing progress and a ‘nation moving forward’, also the interesting question as to why the emu and kangaroo’s head is turned the other way! Thanks Adie for an enjoyable time on the walk.
What an insightful and wonderful tour we had with Alex today. She shared history and current facts info about Perth that we had not seen in guide books nor learnt from local Perth family. A fabulous three hours, thankyou!
I did the Perth city tour with Oh Hey WA, with Lucy as the tour guide and it was such a great morning out for my first day in the city! Lucy was great and shared a bunch of information about everything we saw, made sure to include everyone and offered helpful info for everyone for where they wanted to go once the tour finished. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Perth.
