This is a cozy Italian spot in the city. The house made pasta was beautiful, we ordered the rigatoni pesto e pollo which was creamy and delicious. We couldn’t resist trying the tiramisu as well, and it did not disappoint. The warm fairy lights and charming décor create an intimate, authentic Italian atmosphere. A must-try in Brisbane!
Got to go here for my catch up/bday dinner with a gf. Our food took ages to come out & we had 2 dishes & 1 side salad. The restaurant wasn't even packed. We were eating before 5-6pm. My friend was getting hangry lol. I ordered their truffle pasta. In photos it looks like it's topped with shavings of truffle, but my pasta have one slice that was from a jar & it didn't even have a strong flavour. I still have yet to find really worthy pasta. Sadly Jamie's italian wasn't it.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Perfect location, amazing staff, tasty food, fast service and the most incredibly tiramisu in Brisbane. I have celebrated here my birthday, friend birthday and last dinner of the year, and every single time the experience has been lovely. Shout out to Samara, who has attended our table in two out of three times of us visiting O&A. Her service has been excellent, sweet, kind and friendly. Highly recommended restaurant for an unforgettable dinner.
Had such a beautiful experience at Olive & Angelo in Brisbane City. From the moment we sat down, Georgia made our night truly special. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. Her genuine friendliness and professionalism made us feel so welcome and completely elevated the whole dining experience. The food was amazing, but Georgia’s service is what really stood out, she is an absolute asset to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by her again!
What a great first experience at this beautiful ambient restaurant. I felt like I was sitting in Italy. Thank you to the wait staff, chefs and kitchen team for a wonderful evening. The wine, antipasti, food (pizza and pasta) and dessert (tiramisu) was DELICIOUS! My favourite dish was the Pesto E Pollo, so my flavour, & the tiramisu. I love the lighting, the layout and the vibe of this place. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or date night. Particularly good was the host, an Italian man with black glasses, he was superb and stood out to me as old school quality service and made everyone feel welcome and looked after. Bravo, I will be back!
