After a long time, I find myself facing a restaurant menu filled edge to edge with tiny print on both sides. It feels just like the early 1980s, when I had just immigrated and walked into a diner for the first time. Back then, a menu like this felt more like an English textbook and dictionary combined, something I had to study before I could even place an order. The coffee served in a brown side-table mug is a classic American morning brew, light in color, almost like barley tea. As I sip it and watch a customer unfold the morning newspaper, I feel as if I’ve stepped back in time to America during the Reagan era. The quiet, orderly atmosphere of those days gently settles in. Sitting down with Brother Samuel and his wife after such a long time, we shared stories we hadn’t yet told and created new memories together. Thank you for the warm and satisfying breakfast. I truly enjoyed it. Edward Park
First time at the Omelet House and it was delicious! We did go on a Tuesday at 9am and there was no wait. The service was very quick and Irene was an amazing server! She was very attentive, offered suggestions on what to order, offered to take our photo as you can see, and took care of us. The food was delicious and I especially loved the spuds. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Vegas!
Huge food, eclectic surroundings, went on a Friday morning, you can tell this place gets slammed on weekends and later in day by all the queue lines but we went right in, coffee is ok, omletes were massive and the potatoes almost like chips very good. I would recommend the half portions. The place is full of pics of Vegas history - cool place I would eat here again I had the fried steak omelet and cowboy special with pancakes
There was no wait when we visited in Sept of 2025. I saw some ropes for lines with wait times posted but there was no one in that line so we were seated right away. I think this has to do with decreased tourism to LV now. We enjoyed large portions, fast and efficient service and the coffee was pretty decent too. I got a vegetarian omelet that was brimming with cheese and it had a side of house made potatoes. I'm glad I went to the half-portion as it was already a huge portion. My partner got a large waffle, scrambled eggs and bacon - again, very generous portions. The atmosphere is 70's-80's kitsch with a lot of cool things. If you like vintage things and stained glass windows and lamps, this is an added bonus of visiting this place. There's also an 80's vintage store in the Omelet House Mall where this restaurant is located. Free parking in the private lot.
Phenomenal restaurant! Everything was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly and worked together to make sure guests were taken care of from drink refills to cleaning tables. Food came out quick and piping hot - love this! We had a scramble and classic eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was very flavorful and the eggs, cooked to perfection. Banana bread arrived hot and bursting with flavor as well! Breakfast potato slices were so very yummy! We went around 11am on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes for a booth for 2. We will definitely return again next time we’re in town!
