PA Hire Liverpool was great for our event last week. Everything was set up early and tested to take away the stress, and the sound system was brilliant. It was a wonderful day and PA Hire Liverpool were a big part in making it a success! :)

Our experience with this company was stressful, unreliable and frustrating. We arranged a drum kit and PA system for a family event, but after agreeing on the equipment and date, the organiser dropped off the face of the earth and refused to discuss the details of when the equipment would be collected. We (naively) paid the invoice in good faith, expecting that surely he would get back to us to sort the final details, but as the event came closer we heard literally nothing. Eventually it got to the night before with no confirmation of payment received, no communication on the collection time, and we were forced to arrange a whole new set of equipment, and we informed him via text that we no longer wanted the equipment due to the failure to confirm the details. Then, on the morning of the event the equipment miraculously turned up - they had ignored our request to cancel. We were told by the woman delivering the equipment that the reason for the lack of communication was the guy's father had passed away. Of course this somewhat excuses the poor communication, but given the situation he was unable to provide the bare minimum necessary level of communication, and he should have informed us he would have to cancel the contract for personal reasons. There was then another issue - despite having confirmed that we needed a mixer, he had sent the equipment without a mixer. As a result, the poor delivery woman had to drive all the way back to liverpool and back to get a mixer. She came back with a mixer and then had to leave to go to the next job for the company. That was not the end of it. We then set up the equipment, and the mixer would not even turn on (I tried to attach a video to the review but it's not working.) This rendered the PA equipment useless, and it was only due to a family member having a spare column PA system that we were able to amplify our instruments at all. I informed the company owner, and he said it would be tested on collection the next morning and if found faulty he would refund the PA equipment. The next morning the same delivery woman came to collect the equipment, but she said it would have to be tested back at the company, with no way for us to verify the test. They took over two weeks to get back to us on the matter, at which point they just claimed the mixer worked fine and were not willing to refund the PA system and only give a token refund of £40 (from £100 that they charged for the PA system.) We informed him that we did not think this was fair, but for the sake of ending our dealing with this company we would accept the £40 if that was all they were willing to offer. At this point, he went completely dark again for 3 weeks, not replying to any messages attempting to organise the refund. Eventually around 3 weeks later, I reached out again to try and arrange the refund, and we were refunded £40 of our £280 total equipment hire. At no point was there any accountability from the owner of the company, or even any acknowledgement that things had been less than ideal. The lack of communication at any stage was extremely unhelpful. The entire debacle was a shameful effort from a company that, as past reviews seem to indicate, has previously done good work. I can understand that with the loss of a family member the service wasn't up to scratch, but the least I would expect would be for him to own up to that later on and give a proper refund that actually reflects that. When you are attempting to arrange an event, the last thing you need is more stress on top from the equipment supplier. Therefore, unfortunately I can only wholeheartedly recommend staying away from this company. It's not worth the stress and terrible communication.

Belated review from myself this is for an event from October. Really elevated our gaming event for the spectators with the equipment want to express my thanks for the day! Great customer service and attitude really, just friendly. Equipment simple to setup and get going too, no issues. Thanks again!

Absolutely first class service from PA Hire Liverpool. Lynton was so helpful and went above and beyond to provide everything we needed (and more!) for a band performance at private event. Couldn't recommend their services more!
