I made an appointment with Roy after receiving an IRS letter regarding my 2019 taxes. He was able to amend my return and clear me of any financial obligation. Roy proceeded to tackle my 2020 return, he lended his expertise on several key details as it was a year filled with multiple job positions and financial decisions. The meeting took about an hour and a half, thankfully it turns out I’m owed a return from the IRS for 2020. The details of your own finances and tax obligations will certainly differ but Roy’s kindness and expertise will be something I will continue to rely on for years to come.
Setting up the meeting was very easy and timely. Paramount provided an file sharing web page which we used to upload all of our tax documents. At the meeting, Roy did an excellent job in helping us file our taxes properly while providing us “what-if” scenarios for proper planning and bookkeeping for next year. On top of that, he was patient in explaining to us through some complicated tax laws and implications we wanted to understand. I couldn’t be happier with the service and end product. I’m glad our financial planner referred him to us.
Roy Layton has been doing my taxes for 17 years and there is never been a problem. He is always pleasant and their staff works well with you. He is fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend Paramount to anyone.
