We love Park Animal Hospital for our girl Frannie! Huge shoutouts to Tianna, Dr. Finnie and Dr. Harty, they really care and are so kind and thoughtful in following up and explaining answers to questions in an approachable way. The front desk team also called to follow up to check on Frannie which I appreciated! We also love that they’re right next to Golden Gate Park, we often take our dog for a walk after or grab breakfast at Tartine
Dr Finney was very thorough, knowledgeable, and responsive to our concerns for our cat. The office staff and vet techs were all very friendly and took great care of our cat. This has been our primary care veterinarian for years and we have always been appreciative of their services.
My golden retriever and I have been going to Park Animal Hospital since I got him at 8 weeks old. I love them so much that even after I changed neighborhoods and was no longer close to them, I continue to bring my dog there because of the people there. The veterinarians (Dr. Arrick, Dr. Elliot, & Dr. Finnie) are thorough, thoughtful, and trustworthy. They have addressed everything from his eye and ear infections to his abdominal illnesses to routine vaccine maintenance to dental care and weight management and hernia identification. They take the time to listen to your concerns and recommend financially conscientious treatment plans for my beloved dog son. The office staff is wonderful - Rowena and Linda are quick to respond to my emails, whether it be an urgent new onset illness concern and triaging this to the doctors and then finding us the first available appointment or processing simpirica trio refill- they provide prompt responses and assistance no matter the case. They provide recommendations for dog sitters and daycares. And the vet techs here are so good with my dog, taking care to trim his nails effortlessly (which is a hard feat/it’s impossible for me to do on my own) but they are fantastic with him. Thank you for loving my dog as much as I do ❤️
I get consistently good care for my dogs at Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Arrick explains options for dealing with my old dogs’ medical needs at every visit, so I can make the choices about their care better informed. When I was dealing with an elderly dog’s cancer, he was clear on the efficacy of surgery. After she healed, he respected our choice not to take any more aggressive measures to deal with its expected return, as she had other medical issues that would’ve prevented a good outcome. As for the rest of the staff at Park, the vet techs are enthusiastic about dealing with my dogs. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly in person. They return phone calls and emails rapidly. I’ve been taking my dogs to Park vets since 1997 and only once, about 20 years ago, was I unhappy with an interaction with a vet no longer there. Otherwise, they’ve been great.
I have been taking my 3 year-old Mastiff, Freya, to Park Animal Hospital for the past two years. Park Animal Hospital has been amazing! Her veterinarian, Dr. Elliot, is fantastic with her. He is also very knowledgeable on her breed and is very sweet with her. The staff as a whole are very sweet. Because of her size, my dog can be very intimidating and stubborn to handle. The vet technicians and veterinarians are phenomenal with her. She even tries to go in to see her favorite techs when we walk past the office. Overall, Park Animal Hospital is an amazing vet office and I can't recommend them enough!
