We had a wonderful vacation at Park Lane Guest House over the New Year's holiday, and we really didn't want to leave. The Carriage House is spacious and comfortable. The area is very walkable; we didn't need to get in the car at all. Good restaurants and music no more than five minutes leisurely walk away. There are also nice parks nearby. But most of all we enjoyed just relaxing in the garden, watching the birds and listening to the sounds of nature. Shakti's gourmet breakfasts were just the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed the hospitality! We will be recommending this place to all our friends, and we will be coming back.

Absolutely loved staying at Park Lane. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back. The cottage house is cozy and spacious. The courtyard is romantic and whimsical. The pool is perfectly shaded for an afternoon of swimming and relaxing. The owners were so lovely and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was hand delivered to our room and was absolutely delicious. South Congress is a 5 minute walk with all the entertainment and restaurants you could want. Finding this place truly made my birthday weekend incredible. If you decide to stay here, I promise you will not regret it.

We had an amazing relaxing weekend here! We live in the Austin area, but wanted an opportunity to enjoy South Austin without having to power through the traffic or feeling pressed for time. There's a few places that could have fit that bill, but I was feeling picky, and honestly we had a better time here than we could have had literally anywhere else. We got to enjoy a beautiful house, amazing breakfasts, and a generally wonderful campus with a refreshing little pool and cute little chickens. That plus being within walking distance of Amy's Ice Cream and other amazing locations, it's an unbeatable experience all around, probably something I'll repeat when I get a chance. Thank you!

I stayed at the Park Lane Guesthouse years ago and had the opportunity to return to spend my birthday weekend there recently. It's hard to put into words how wonderful this place is. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet only minutes from the busy shopping, restaurants and nightlife of Austin. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The breakfast each morning was incredible. I swear the pool has magical healing properties and the backyard is an oasis, be sure to venture out when the sun goes down to see all the beautiful lights in the courtyard. And say hi to the chickens, they love company! If you are looking for a great place to stay while exploring Austin, please keep this place in mind. I guarantee you will feel recharged both physically and mentally after a stay at Park Lane Guesthouse.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Park Lane Guest House! Tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood, but within walking distance to everything South Congress has to offer! The actual place is lovely, too: the bedding is glorious, the decor is magical, the pool is excellent, parking is easy, and the outdoor shower (which is optional to use) was so cool! Also, the hand-cooked breakfasts are to die for, and Shakti and Samantha are delightful! If you're coming to Austin, this is where you want to be!
