I've been coming to PDXStrength since 202. I love the small classes, the coaches and the welcoming environment. Absolutely worth the trek for me from SW Portland to St. John's 3 times a week.
Absolutely love this place. The vibes and community are immaculate 😎 . Classes are fun and great motivation to stick to a routine. After just a few months I feel strong, confident and can dance for hours 😂because of this gym. Can’t recommend it enough
I’m a newbie in the gym scene and was feeling a bit anxious about putting theory into action. As a newbie, healthcare provider and parent to young kids (dynamic schedule), training with Laura has been a dream! Walking into my first session, I had a passerby wish me a great workout. Laura is so approachable and fun to chat with and has a clear and confident routine every time. I consistently leave the gym feeling strong all over in a balanced way I didn’t realize was possible. Moving towards group classes, I feel welcomed and comfortable. The music is energized and everyone speaks highly of their experience. I look forward to seeing where this new habit and community takes me!
This little gym lifts a big stack! Great classes - challenging but accessable for all skill levels because the instructors will fit your workout to your interests and skills. Are you looking for a place to have fun with good people? It's here! Are you looking for more focus, more intensity? You can find it here, too. I've been a gym rat since my Army days forty years ago, and PDXstrength is, across the board, the most welcoming, most challenging, most fun place I've ever trained. Come on and try a class! I think you'll agree!
This is without a doubt the best gym in all of Portland - and maybe even the country. I came to this gym as someone who had a background in athletics, but had never really done any weightlifting or strength training previously. All of the coaches who work here are awesome - they are super supportive and encouraging, while also very helpful in teaching you the proper form and motion for each exercise. The people that go here are great too, everyone is so kind and welcoming, and you can truly come to this place as you are. Joining this gym was the best decision I made while living in Portland!
