Pepper Street Arts Centre es una galería comunitaria acogedora ubicada en un hermoso edificio antiguo en Magill. Presenta una programación rotativa de exposiciones mensuales y cuenta con una tienda de regalos con piezas hechas localmente, desde trabajos en madera hasta textiles. Los visitantes pueden participar en talleres, disfrutar del café y quedarse en un espacio tranquilo, con un pequeño jardín nativo en la parte trasera que exhibe arte local.

I was surprised at how good and how colourful the pastel works of South Australian artists were. Some of them were lifelike. The gift shop is like an exhibition in itself and I just had to look at every item (although the volunteer attending it, "Ixxxxx", was a bit odd in manner). I didn't try the coffee, but the atmosphere of the place was nice and quiet and relaxed. There is a small native garden out the back. I managed to spend a whole hour here. The only things I would do to improve it would be to make it a bit bigger to make the trip more worthwhile if travelling from far away through the traffic or at least develop the small garden, as an art work in itself, and maybe display sculptures there. It could be transformed into a very nice little hideaway.
I happened to walk by here, so I stopped by, but I think it's a better place than I thought. It makes good connections with local artists, and helps residents lower the barriers to art and improve their quality of life. And don't forget that you can enjoy coffee in a pretty nice quiet atmosphere.
Great art center. A good place for children to learn painting and feel art.
SALA 2021 exhibition was an intriguing mix of styles, mediums and take on “home is where the heart is”. Purchased a piece from the exhibition and a few things from the gallery shop. Lovely community gallery.

Tienen una exposición diferente cada mes y una tienda donde puedes conseguir piezas hechas localmente geniales. Todo, desde trabajos en madera hasta textiles. También hacen talleres. Definitivamente échale un vistazo.
