First of all, I must start by saying, I unfortunately have not tried their food yet. I just met Nick, and Melissa by happenstance at one of my frequents in Minneapolis. Stand up folks, who emanate good vibes. If my intuition is correct, which it usually is, their food is likely top shelf. It is one thing to leave a review recommending you patron a place simply for the product/service that they supply to the community. It is another to recommend it because the owners, and operators are great people. From a fellow foodie, chef, and human, I can assure that you will not be disappointed if you decide to do business with Sweet and Sowers. The fact that as a patron of a personal chef, you will likely be inviting them into your home, I believe that the type of person(s) they are is almost, if not more important than the food itself. You can tell by the artistic expression of the plates in their photos, that they put real thought into not only the presentation of their dishes, but overall composition as well. I have no doubt that they are the real deal. It was nice to meet, and converse with you both.
Sweet and Sowers is AWESOME. Strongly recommend everybody try their drop off meals. We’ve gotten it multiple times in the last few months and loved to have access to a healthy, seasonal and delicious meal delivered once a week. Big fan! can’t wait to see what you else you guys serve up
Marissa and Nick are simply perfect - delicious food, elegant presentation, yet chill, friendly company themselves. They don't miss a single detail, and they make the experience relaxing and easy for everyone. The frozen and pantry items are also next level -- the bolognese!! I couldn't live without them.
