Peter Franklin made my wedding band back in 2018. Over the years, I unfortunately lost several stones, which was disappointing. During my most recent visit, I was hoping they might be able to help me out with a better rate on the repair. Kennedy could not have been kinder — she truly went above and beyond. Not only did they fix the issue, but they actually made me a brand-new ring at no cost. I was completely blown away by their generosity and customer service. It’s rare to find a business that truly stands behind their products and workmanship. I will absolutely return for future jewelry purchases and highly recommend them
I need help with an appraisal. They were most helpful. It was definitely a favourite place to buy that special someone a Christmas present. Ladies, today, the men were filing in to make those thoughtful purchases for their loved one. I hope you get some sparkle under the Christmas tree this year.
I purchased an engagement ring back around January of 2023 from the Dupont road store. Total apporoximate price was just shy of $4,000.00 I chose the Lab Grown because the price would have been for a Real Diamond $6,000.00. Although I was told it was worth a lot less. I did not realize that Lab grown diamonds are actually worthless. They made an appraisal letter for the ring that said the value was $3,550.00. Long story short engagement did not last, so I took the ring back to sell it to them and was told it was only worth the price of 3 grams of gold. When I asked about appraisal letter which they said the value was $3,550.00, I was told that was only for insurance reasons if it was ever lost or stolen. That seems like insurance fraud if the ring was only worth the price if the gold. Which was seemed dishonest also since gold is a set price and they offered me $125.00. I then went to another Jeweler who gave me $165.00 for the Gold. I dont believe I was dealt with honestly by Peter Franklin Jewelers from the beginning and will never darken their door again.
Wendy was phenomenal. She made us feel so welcome and was very knowledgeable. They have great prices for ring sizing and I was impressed to learn they even have 1/4 sizes. I have a beautiful 2 carat white gold engagement ring that was a size 5. Wendy sized me 6.25 and the price was $93. I also added a line of engraving for $15. I called back to add cleaning and it’s already included. What a great experience! Also they are one of the only jewelry stores that size in house most stores ship your precious jewelry out in the mail to be sized. We will definitely be back to wedding bands. Thank you Wendy!!! I will update with before and after pics of ring.
