We left our two cats at home for the first time while out of town, so we didn’t know how they’d behave! Joe and his team (thanks Grace and Sara!) were thorough, reliable, and communicative. We were at ease during our trip knowing our kittens were in good hands. We even got a sweet thoughtful postcard of one of the photos of our cats in the mail

All of the sitters that have come into my home have been so nice and respectful of my space. They seem to genuinely love animals and my two pets have been in good hands! I also really like the app for scheduling, paying, and communicating with the sitters.

The PetSitter Portland team is truly deserving of their high ratings. A couple months ago, I moved here with my German Shepherd and didn't want him to be stuck in the apartment alone all day while I was starting a new job. My pup was anxious when we first moved and wasn't used to apartment life or encountering a lot of new people. I was worried he would be too reactive or intimidating for anyone to be able to take him out, but the PetSitter team quickly set up a meet and greet with him and they hit it off. The team worked with me to get secure access to my building and apartment, and were very accommodating of my schedule. Communication is excellent. Joe is helpful and supportive in confirming services and troubleshooting. All of the PetSitters, but especially Owen and Jan, sent multiple high quality photos of their visits and wrote sweet messages about how the visit went; they went above and beyond in making sure my pup was safe, relieved, and given water. They even gave him some much needed play time in addition to the walks. They were also receptive to requests for consistency with his training. They're a very trustworthy and respectful team, and I am hugely appreciative of their thoroughness, attention to detail, and reliability. Even though my pup won't need routine visits anymore, it's a huge comfort knowing there's such a great team available for any days I need covered!

I can't speak highly enough about PetSitter Portland! I had to leave for a trip right after moving to Portland, so I didn't have the community to care for my two cats nor the heart to board them after moving across the country. PetSitter Portland was my village when I needed one! They sent multiple pictures and left long messages every day, giving me such peace of mind!
