The Photosprouts in-person Advanced Smartphone Photography workshop in San Francisco is excellent. While smartphones are ubiquitous, many powerful features—and the fundamentals of creative composition and light—are often underutilized. This workshop teaches you how to see and use the qualities of light, not just the camera. Curated lessons and easy walks to nearby shooting locations make it simple to practice new techniques immediately. The ebook is a valuable takeaway and a great reference after the workshop. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their smartphone photography.

Christina's smartphone photography workshop helped me with some straightforward and effective tips to immediately get more interesting and more flattering shots. It's also a fun date activity to walk around the city and take photos in interesting locations. Jordi's beginner workshop helped me understand the fundamentals and demystify ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. He was very excited to answer all of my questions even when they were kind of basic or silly. Both instructors are friendly and engaging, and clearly have a huge amount of knowledge and experience as professional photographers. I strongly recommend them and I'll be back for more!

I had a completely positive experience with Photosprouts! The class size was small, which allowed me to ask Christina specific questions and to get individual attention when needed. I haven't picked up my camera in over a decade, so this was a great way to refresh and learn the ins and outs of shooting natural lighting portraits. Christina guided us through directing our model, Valerie, who was also fun to work with. We were taken through the basics of natural lighting, and were given the how and why behind each of the techniques. Christina provided feedback on our photos throughout the day and helped us to find our own way through the lesson plan. I look forward to taking more classes with Photosprouts!

I recently completed a beginner photography class offered by Photosprouts and had a fantastic experience learning from Jordi. As someone who started with very little knowledge, I now feel more confident using my digital camera in manual mode. Jordi did an excellent job explaining the core camera settings and made everything super easy to understand. Each concept was broken down in a clear, practical way, with in-class hands-on practice and real-world examples. Thanks to this class, I’ve moved beyond automatic mode and now have a solid foundation to build on as I continue exploring photography. I highly recommend this beginner class for anyone just starting out!

My son has done two summer camps with Photosprouts. Last summer, he did the beginner camp and this summer he returned for the advanced camp. Both weeks were fantastic - Christina and Jordi are great instructors and the kids learned a ton. Highly recommend for anyone with a teenager interested in learning photography skills!
