Planet Fitness – Downtown Crossing, Boston This location is super convenient when working in the city. It has three floors with great equipment for strength training, cardio, and a spa area as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially since it was my first time there. The gym is immaculate, clean, and clearly well cared for, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!
I am seriously FRUSTRATED with this Gym. I have had a back and spine injury for 4 years. I was on a walker and cane for 4 years. I am a black card member and only use the chair for now to help to control the pain in my back and hip. I have used this gym for many years since they opened on Winter Street. See Pictures attached. I was unable to upload the video but will soon. 1. PF Team Member Beryl On 12/31/2025 aprox 8:25PM. The gym closes at 9 pm but the doors were locked. New Years Eve Beryl in picture #1(if that's his real name) Locked the doors 40 mins before 9 pm. He wouldn't let the members in the club. I knocked on the door, and he started to complain that people need to stop coming in and go home. I ignored him and signed up for the chair. I complimented his clothes and asked what's the plan for New Years. He was short with me and seemed irritated. Then made a comment about me in front of me to the female employee. She told him to stop. I gave her Money as a gift for New Years then he flipped out on me saying I am trying to get people in trouble and I should get out of the Gym. Also threatened to record me. I simply said to his co worker that I do not entertain DEMONS, I go to church and I refuse to argue with anyone. This individual is seriously either Bipolar or have issues. It's the 4th time I had to deal with him. 2. PF Team Member Louis I am still waking up in pain daily, so I went in on 1.13.2026 to use the chair a few times. I always ask if anyone is waiting for the chair. There is no line and there are two empty chairs Louis tells me there is a limit to use the chair. Since not EVERYONE knows that I have an injury and I cant work out given I am PAYING Monthly for a BLACK CARD MEMEBRSHIP only to use the chair.... I had to record the conversation to make it clear why I need the chair and that I am being respectful to other members. AGAIN NOBODY WAS WAITING!!! I stood there for 12 mins to talk to someone else while being stressed out and frustrated. There are other members destroying equipment's for years that are STILL members there and nobody is harassing them. Yet I am a problem???? PF Do Better.... I am tired of complaining to management about employees. And please don't respond that I should reach out to the GYM because I usually do before posting this.. SMDH
I love this location the staff is always amazing and consistently provides great service. Roy is especially outstanding. He is professional, friendly, and always makes sure the area stays clean and well organized. His attention to detail truly makes a difference and enhances the overall experience every time I visit.
Great gym to work out in. People don't bother you while working out. You can zero in on what you are trying to get done.
Planet Fitness has truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment you walk in, the space is clean, well-organized, and welcoming — exactly what you want in a gym. The staff is always friendly and helpful, creating a non-intimidating environment that lives up to their “Judgement Free Zone” motto. The equipment is plentiful and well-maintained, so I’ve never had to wait long for a machine, even during peak hours. Whether I’m doing cardio, strength training, or just stretching out in the spacious workout areas, everything I need is right there. The locker rooms are also spotless and secure, which makes a huge difference. I also love the Black Card perks — especially the massage chairs and HydroMassage, which are perfect for winding down after a tough workout. For the price, value, and atmosphere, Planet Fitness is unbeatable. It’s a great place to stay consistent, get stronger, and feel good. Five stars all the way!
